Everyone knows that firemen can cook, so how lucky that these Detroit firemen brought their smoking hot menu to a new location in Wyandotte! Not only do they prepare incredible food but their motto is to focus on a family friendly affordable menu with fantastic service.

Detroit Firemen Jeff Smith, Mike Urbin and Brian Vogal are three fire fighters who needed a plan B when Detroit took a turn and their pensions and benefits were cut. None of them worked in a restaurant, but they all knew how to cook up some lip smacking grub. Three years ago they took their knowledge of food and opened the Firehouse Pub in Saint Clair Shores and it was a flaming hit! From meatloaf and mash to BBQ sauce and Ranch they take pride in house made specialties.

Recently Firehouse Pub added a second location on Maple Street in Wyandotte. Jeff, a longtime resident, learned that the building next to the fire station became available and was a perfect place to open their second location! Unlike many venues in the downtown area this is the only free standing restaurant making it convenient for parking and building a functioning patio. When the weather breaks this patio will be the go-to for warm nights and cold drinks. Happy Hour runs Mon-Sat.

Open for Brunch with Bloody Mary’s and Mimosas. Their bar also offers domestic, craft, seasonal and Michigan made beers along with 14 rotating taps.

Something exclusive to the Firehouse Pub is their $6.00 lunch! Including fries and a soft drink, it’s superior to any drive-through combo! * And don’t forget to check out the unique design in the men’s room! Other specialty items include the hand rolled mozzarella cheese logs, parmesan garlic fries, creamy Gouda mac & cheese, and juicy wings with Buffalo sauce, BBQ or spice rubbed seasonings. Jeff states they strive to make everything fresh from scratch using locally sourced items.

Firehouse Pub is integral in the community contributing to many fund raising events including Third Friday, Spring Fling, pub crawls and more. Come in and watch your favorite sports on their 24 TV’s, play some Keno, cool down with a good ole’ Goose Island root beer float or a Vernors Boston cooler. With too many mouth watering items to mention check out the full menu on Facebook or at firehousepubshores.com.
